Eyelash Extensions - Worth it or not?

Bay area lash extensions.jpg

I have always worn falsies since I was in high school and loved that I could change the style and look of my lashes whenever I want. I recently just started getting eyelash extensions in the beginning of May and beforehand I was definitely hesitant wondering if they were worth it or not.  Now depending on where you live, who you go to, etc., the prices can vary. The average price for a full set of lash extensions range from $110-$200 and a lash fill ranges from $60-$100. Of course these prices are dependent on the type of style you get and the artist.

I did research about lash extensions for a few months before I decided to get them for my birthday. I was spending my birthday in Cabo and I didn't want to have to worry about applying/reapplying my lashes the entire trip. I decided to try an artist that was popular in my area for lash extensions and I was in love with her previous work based on her Instagram page.

I am now a LASH ADDICT at LashGlama in Hercules, CA. My lash artist is CaraMia and she is AMAZING. Her work is by far the best in my part of the Bay Area. She is very sweet, professional, and knows what she is doing.

For my initial full set I got the 'Thick & Full' set for $130 and since then I've gotten 3-4 fills. CaraMia customizes each set for me every time I come for a fill and I see her every 3 weeks.  My fills are usually $80-$90 because I get a customized set which is a combination of a 'Falsey' and 'Thick & Full' set. I like my lashes full and very long!!!

My lashes are not hard, clumpy, or stiff as you can see in the picture. They are easy to comb through, are vey lightweight, and there is no damage to my natural lashes. I have very little lash fall outs because I clean and brush them daily.

I definitely recommend lash extensions. They have made my daily makeup routine a lot simpler and faster. I strongly urge you to do your research on the lash tech, products they use, etc. because there are some bad lash techs out there having women walk out with clumpy, stiff, over-glued lashes, NOT cute!
